Tesla lowers prices as competitors start to gain momentum

Tesla is lowering its prices in the United States for the third time this year. The car company is doing this because inflation continues to rise in the country. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult for many people to purchase electric cars.

Some cars have become around 5,000 dollars cheaper, can be seen on the car brand’s website. The company also previously reduced prices in China, which is an important market for the company.

Tesla has sold a record number of electric cars in the past quarter. There were 36 percent more than in the same period last year. Tesla CEO Elon Musk expects to sell 2 million cars this year, he said earlier. That is 52 percent more than last year.
