The chances are very high that current president of the United States Joe Biden is running for the next presidential election today. This is expected by many American media. Then the oldest presidential candidate in the history of the United States becomes a fact.
Biden is now 80 years old and, if he actually runs, will become the oldest presidential candidate the United States has ever seen. If Biden is re-elected, he will be 86 at the end of his next term. An announcement from Biden could just happen today.
As in the previous election, it “looks” like Biden will face former president Donald Trump again. Trump is far ahead of Republican voters.
Among Democrats, Biden is the” dead-painted ” favorite. Competitors do come forward and the call for a younger candidate is there, but “they hardly have any traction. A lot has to happen if you don’t want to make a sitting president a candidate.”
