Mike Pence, the current vice president of the United States, will also be the running mate of Donald Trump in the 2020 elections. If Trump wins the elections again, Pence will be his first replacement again.
The American president said he was “very happy” with Pence as vice president.
When Trump announced at the end of June that he would stand for election again in 2020, he was introduced by Pence. That already indicated that Pence would become candidate vice president.
It is widely expected that the duo, with a large majority, will win the Republican Party’s presidential candidacy. So far, no serious counter-candidates have reported within that party.
