
The United States must correct their ‘wrong actions’. Only then is China prepared to resume trade talks. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has announced this. Beijing mentions in a statement about conversations that must be based on mutual respect.
The message follows American restrictions against Huawei, one of the largest technology groups in the People’s Republic. The US blacklisted the company for suspicion of espionage, and many companies recently stopped delivering to Huawei.
China and the US have been negotiating for months to end a trade war, with both countries bombarding each other with import rates. The Huawei issue has sharpened the relationships between the superpowers.
