US Defense companies are merging into an almighty dystopian Gigacorp

The United Technologies American industrial group has purchased Raytheon defense company for 74 billion dollars. Together they form one of the largest defense and aviation companies.

The company will be called Raytheon Technologies. The companies will merge in the first half of 2020. United Technologies first wants to sell two other companies.

“The combination of these companies will shape the future of aviation and defense,” said Greg Hayes, director of United Technologies.

The United Tech branch mainly supplies commercial aircraft manufacturers and makes electronic products and communication equipment. Raytheon is a government supplier for military aviation and also makes the Tomahawk cruise missile and Patriot counter-missile systems.
