The Loey Talent award selects nine talented women

The Loey foundation today presented the nine most talented female online entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. By nominating only female talent, the foundation wants to encourage more diversity in the Dutch internet industry.

The Loey Talent award is being presented for the fourth time this year to an ambitious online entrepreneur who brings about growth and innovation and thereby inspires others.

The nine nominees are (alphabetically): Wendy Bogers (Ligo), Loes Daniels (FlightGiftCard), Judith Eyck (Vakanties.nl), Els van der Helm (Shleep), Kristel Kuit (Headroom), Charlotte Melkert (Equalture), Thalita van Ogtrop (The Next Closet), Suzanne van Straaten (Sprinklr.co) and Graciëlla van Vliet (Closure).

An expert panel talks with the entrepreneurs and announces on September 2 which three will go to the final on September 10. The public decides there via an SMS voting round which entrepreneur may call himself the most talented online entrepreneur.

The Loey foundation was founded ten years ago by Hubert Deitmers and Heleen Dura – Van Oord to actively stimulate entrepreneurship in the Dutch internet industry and to establish partnerships.
