Facebook apologizes for blocking US President PR employee

Facebook apologized on Tuesday for blocking a page from Dan Scavino, a senior PR employee at Donald Trump. According to Facebook, Scavino was unjustly blocked due to a false positive judgment of its detection systems as spam, reports a Politico journalist.

Trump responded on Facebook and Twitter on Tuesday to the blockade of his employee. The US president shared an article from The Washington Examiner with the hashtag #StopTheBias (“Stop the preference”), a reference to alleged bias against right-conservative votes on social media.

In an earlier tweet on Tuesday, Trump accused Facebook, Google and Twitter of preferring Democrats to Republicans.
